Heavens to Betsy…

The Women of St. Barnabas are already planning for next year’s rummage sale – which means that it’s time to start collecting again. If your donation pile is growing, please contact Leslie Coefield, or just bring your smaller goodies to the church and we’ll find a place for them. If you have larger items, we’ll coordinate storage at one of our offsite storage locations. Thank you!

The Women of St. Barnabas met on Sunday, June 26th. Thanks to all of you who attended.

Our Community Dinner is Saturday, July 9

July marks our annual Community Dinner BBQ. We cook up burgers & hot dogs, corn on the cob, cole slaw, watermelon & ice cream and eat outside. It is great fun and the weather is forecast to be wonderful, so please join us. Service begins at 5:00 p.m. and clean-up at 6:00 p.m. No need to come early and stay late, an hour or two at any time during the afternoon is a big help. Thanks!

Our Community Dinner is Saturday, June 11

Please join St. Barnabas’ signature ministry. We feed 40-50 people every month and it takes many people to prepare the food, set the tables, serve the meal and clean up. The more hands on deck the better. Food preparation begins at 2:00 PM, food service begins at 5:00 and clean-up at 6:00. No need to come early and stay late, an hour or two at any time during the afternoon is a big help. Thanks!

Community Dinner Coordinator(s) Needed

We also provide food and personal item bags for those people who need them. Originally, we had the assistance of parishioners from St. John the Baptist, but they dropped out of the program a couple of years ago to pursue other opportunities.
