HOLIDAY TEA – DECEMBER 5th

Mark your calendars for Dec. 5, from 1 – 3 pm. The event is sponsored by the WoSB and all are welcome to attend – women, men, and children. We ask all in attendance to bring either a sweet or savory treat to share while enjoying tea and our guest speaker. This year we welcome Nancy Perin as speaker, the Program Manager for the Neighborhood House Head Start and Early Head Start program. She manages the comprehensive early childhood education services for low-income children ages 0-5 years, and their families for the west side of Multnomah County. She has much to share as she is very passionate about her work. There will be a good-will offering taken to support the Head Start program as well as donations of children’s books suitable for any age. Please invite family and friends to come and join us. We do ask that you RSVP on our sign up in Grafe Hall or call the church office at 503-246-1949.

Holiday Tea

Saturday, December 6th from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. is our annual Holiday Tea. Our guest speaker will be Jody Grant from SW Loaves and Fishes. As many of you know, a team from St. Barnabas serves for Loaves and Fishes the second Wednesday of each month at Multnomah Art Center. Jody is a bubbly, energetic, and loving lady. She will tell us about Loaves and Fishes, the needs of the people it serves and how you can be involved. We welcome women, men, and children to attend this festive and tasty holiday event. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend to enjoy the holiday party and learn more about our parish and our ministries. Attendees are encouraged to bring sweet or savory finger-foods to share in this buffet-style party. Tea will be provided by the Women of St. Barnabas.
