Events at St. Barnabas
chili tongues of fire_edited.png

It’s Back.  After a long hiatus, the “Tongues of Fire” chili-cookoff has been resurrected.  It will be held on Sunday, May 19th, after the 10AM service, which is not, coincidentally, Pentecost.  This will be a friendly competition between members of the parish, to determine who makes the best chili at St. Barnabas.  There will be signups for who wants to bring chili for competition tasting, and who will bring sides such as cornbread, cheese, chopped onions and whatever else you can think of.  Look for those signups in a few weeks, but it’s time to start experimenting and getting your best chili recipes ready to go!  Don’t hesitate to let me know if you would like to help.

Centering Prayer

Consider joining Sarah and Terry for a time of prayer each Monday evening at 5 PM in our Chapel.
