Pentecost Tongues of Fire Chili Cook-Off Burns Hot in the Hearts of St. Barnabas!

Thanks to the joyful participation of many people, this year’s chili cook-off was a great success. We had five chili contestants with Carols Bridges’ white bean chili and Shannon Reel’s traditional chili taking top honors. Carol received a chili pepper scarf knitted by Sandy Hunnicut (thank you Sandy) and other goodies. chili02Shannon won the right to pick the hymns on Sunday, June 5, and she did a great job!

Thank you to everyone who helped with planning, set-up, clean up, cooking and eating. Well Done!
